Kaizen Konsulting Pty Ltd, trading as Kera Partners

This policy explains how Kaizen Konsulting Pty Ltd, trading as Kera Partners (“Kera Partners”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information collected through our website. It applies to visitors to our website and to people who contact us through it. It does not cover information we handle on behalf of our clients as part of our services, which is dealt with separately in our agreements with those clients.

What we collect

We collect personal information in two ways through our website:

When you contact us. If you complete our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, company, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. The phone number is optional; everything else is needed so we can respond to you.

When you use our website. Like most websites, we collect basic information about how our site is used, through Google Analytics. This includes things like the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and the type of device and browser you use. This information helps us understand how our site is performing and how to improve it.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it;
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our website;
  • Understand how our website is used, so we can make it better; and
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the details you send us through the contact form for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies — small files stored on your device — to help the site function and to collect the analytics information described above. Analytics cookies are only used where permitted, and you can control or refuse cookies through the cookie notice on our site and through your browser settings. Refusing analytics cookies will not stop you from using the site.

Who we share it with

We keep your information to ourselves and the service providers who help us run our business. We use trusted third parties to host our website, deliver and store email, handle contact-form submissions, and analyse how our website is used. These providers only handle your information to provide those services to us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

One of these providers is Google, through Google Analytics. Some of our providers may store or process information outside the country you are in, including outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you get back in touch or we need it for our records. Analytics information is retained in line with our analytics provider's settings. When we no longer need your information, we take reasonable steps to delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including using reputable providers and sensible access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and keep our practices under review.

Your rights

You have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, these may include the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
  • Object to or ask us to limit how we use your information; and
  • Complain to your local privacy regulator if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@kerapartners.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the laws that apply to you.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the date below. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let affected people know.
